In 2009, I made a decision to live a healthier life not just for myself but to be an example for my son. When I gave birth I found myself at my heaviest weight ever, 241 pounds.

Two months after delivering my son I weighed 210 pounds. I managed to lose 44 pounds by making healthier eating decisions and staying active. At the moment I’m working on maintaining my weight loss and losing a bit more to make up for my college days of beer, chili cheese fries, and late night taco bell runs with the guys.

This is my journey.
